Attention Parents and Grandparents! Morning Readers Needed!
We still need a few good men and women to read with children in our Morning Readers program. At this time of year, participation seems to drop off, yet we have many students who make very impressive gains in reading if they get that extra 20 minutes of one-on-one reading in the mornings. Please consider donating a half hour to an hour a week to read, on your own schedule, in the class of your choice. If your child's teacher doesn't need any more readers, we will be happy to place you!
For information, or to begin, please contact Karen O'Connor in Room 16, by email.
The rewards are tremendous and your help is invaluable!

AB Run2Play Is On Its Way! – Thursday, March 17, 2011
The Adobe Bluffs’ Run2Play, sponsored by the AB Foundation, will be held on Thursday, March 17th beginning at 7:50am. The fun run is a fundraiser which will help support Physical Education at our school and also promotes physical fitness. Every student will either walk or run during the event and all participants will receive a “Finishers Ribbon”. Our goal is to show our students exercise can be fun!
The funds raised will help pay for a physical education teacher, purchase much needed P.E. equipment, help maintain the track and other items. Fundraising materials were sent home in your student’s Friday Folder on March 4th.
If you have any questions please check the AB Foundation website or contact Foundation President, KC Hellenkamp.
Please contact Nicole Sanseverino if you would like to volunteer for this event and/or if you would like to donate gallon jugs of water for our thirsty runners.
