The Adobe Bluffs PTA welcomes you to the 2009-2010 school year!  Due to the state’s budget deficit, schools have received significant cuts in funding.  Because of this, Adobe Bluffs needs your support to fill in the “funding gap” and help provide the best school experience possible.


Why should I join the PTA?   The most important reason is to support your child, their education and total school experience.  In addition to that, you’re also supporting the local, state and national PTA and their efforts in advocating for all children’s educational needs.


What is the money used for?   $4.60 goes toward the local, state & national PTA.  $5.40 goes to Adobe Bluffs and is earmarked for Literacy Support.  This includes support for the following:

• New library books & library support       
• Parent Education Literacy Forum                           
• New guided reading books          
• Aztec Summer Book Club                                       
• Early Morning Reader Program          
• Book Exchange & Author’s Faire           

 Who should join?  Both parents are strongly encouraged to join. Memberships are individual (not per family). 


NO meetings!  Although you are warmly invited to all PTA association meetings, we understand that sometimes you are busy.  Joining simply means you believe in and support the PTA’s goals and voice.
