The Adobe Bluffs PTA welcomes you to the 2010-2011 school year!  Our membership drive has begun and we want to join together with you to create the best 2010-2011 school year possible!  The Adobe Bluffs PTA is a volunteer group of parents, teachers, administrators, and concerned citizens that develop and implement enrichment programs for your children, such as:

Arts Attack – art programs taught in the classroom       Mileage Club – healthy choice for lunch recess

Winter Jamboree – carnival with food, games & prizes  AB Games – school wide sports day

Science Day – event exploring science with students      Author’s Faire – assembly with an author

Performing Arts – experience a live performance          Diversity Day – mix of culture and community

Literacy Support – in-class reading program support     Safety Patrol – provides crossing guards

 

Due to the state’s continued financial issues, Adobe Bluffs has received the second straight year of significant funding cuts which will affect every child and every classroom.  Because of this, we are asking every family to please step up and support the PTA and Adobe Bluffs by becoming a member.  To become a member of the PTA, click here.

Who should join the PTA?  Both parents are strongly encouraged to join. Memberships are individual (not per family).  Show even more support by asking a grandparent, relative, friend or neighbor to join too!  To become a member of the PTA, click here.

What is the membership money used for?  $4.60 goes toward the local, state & national PTA.  $5.40 goes to Adobe Bluffs and is earmarked for Literacy Support.  This includes:  

                      -        New library books & library support              

-        In-class reading programs                         

-        Early Morning Reader Program

NO meetings! Although you are warmly invited to all PTA association meetings, we understand that you are busy.  Joining simply means you believe in and support the PTA’s goals and voice.
